Types of Cheap Air FreshenersSome cheap air fresheners that do just as good a job as expensive ones - if you know where to find them!Do you love the smell of a clean home but hate the high cost of many air fresheners? If so, you are not alone. Most people enjoy the wonderful fragrance that comes along with clean room through air fresheners but many of the more effective sprays are expensive. The good news is that you have a number of excellent options that can eliminate odors while not costing a fortune. One air freshener that has become quite popular is called Febreeze. Designed to spray on car upholstery, furniture, carpeting, closets, or in the air, Febreeze has a nice, clean smell that freshens the air. If you have animals, children that play sports, if someone in the home smokes, or you simply enjoy spending time in the kitchen cooking, you can spray Febreeze and immediately enjoy a beautiful fresh smell. With this, you simply place the air freshener in the home where you need the most odor coverage and it goes to work, covering tobacco, pet, bathroom, and other unpleasant odors. This product is inexpensive but actually works well. Although it does not cover odors in large rooms, it is a great choice for bathrooms, kitchens, or kid’s bedrooms. If you want to cover up bad odors in your car, you should check out Blue Q. These small packets are whimsical while providing great coverage. For instance, you could choose Bee Fresh, which has a nice fresh floral scent, Bad Ass, a car and truck air freshener that smells like hot cinnamon, Fragrant Gnome with a fresh pine fragrance, Get Lost air freshener that has a sweet vanilla smell, or Police are my Favorite People, which smells just like fresh baked doughnuts, among others. Finally, you can always make your own air freshener, using things you already have around the home. Using a $2 plastic spray bottle with distilled water, you could add one teaspoon of vanilla, lemon, almond, or coconut extract to every two ounces of water. If you do not have any type of extract on hand, add cinnamon sticks to water or you could used powdered ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, or cloves. Just shake before using and then spray away from furniture surfaces.
